Brandon Marshall set the single-game receptions record with 21 in Denver’s 28-16 loss to Indianapolis. He finished with 200 yards and two touchdowns.

“I went to my receiving coach before the game and I told him, ‘I think this is going to be the best game I’ve ever played,”’ Marshall said. “Just because of the environment, the situation of playing the Colts. I believe big players step up in big games, and this was a big game for us.”
As good as Marshall’s effort was, the rest of the team had eight catches for 77 yards, which had much to do with Denver’s loss. |
