Austin had 10 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start. His 250 receiving yards set a Cowboys club record, breaking the mark of Hall of Famer Bob Hayes.
"It's a feeling that's unbelievable," he said. "It's amazing. I never seen that coming today. I was ready today, but you never expect a huge game like that."
In overtime, Austin got free on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo.
"I caught it, put my shoulder down, made him miss and started looking up on the screen seeing how far the other guys were. They started gaining on me a little bit, so I had to run a little faster." |
