They were
once popular DJ's on a local rock station. Then their lives
took a sudden turn for the worse! Bob Madden's death spiral
into booze, women, and gambling leaves his partner Brian Nelson
unsure about whether to look for another radio gig, or to
join Bob on the "rocket sled to the bottom."

Shot on location in Nassau, Bahamas,
Bob and Brian pose with their made for TV actors Brett Bunes (as Bob
Madden) and Joe Ussel (as Brian Nelson). The filming took almost 4
full days to complete, and was reportedly $63.45 over budget.
This was mostly due to having to bail out Mr. Bunes from the local
Nassau jail after he beat an assistant with a day old croissant in
his personal trailer on the set. Said Bunes: "This movie may
be going straight to cable, dammit, but I demand the respect I've
earned in this business!"
The hardest part of the project? According to Mr. Ussel: "It
was getting inside the minds of two schmoes from Milwaukee who really
don't work for a living. It's an indulgent mindset that requires total
commitment as an actor."
Overall, however, the "real life" Bob and Brian liked the
portrayal of their cushy-ass radio lives. Said Madden: "It was
kinda nice seeing someone else get to bang some hot chicks every now
and then. And lemme tell ya, these kids can act!" |
